Ant-Weight Battle Bot
Project Overview
Built for ME 302 at UT Austin, this 1-lb combat robot features a dual-weapon setup with a front spinner and rear puncher mounted on a two-wheeled drive chassis. I owned the full structural design cycle: frame design in SolidWorks, FEA validation under a 10 lbf load, and final soldering for signal integrity across the drivetrain and weapon systems.
To communicate design intent, the team produced a formal drawing package with GD&T callouts, covering the top and bottom frame plates. The section view below illustrates internal layout to meet weight requirements.
Tools Used: SolidWorks, FEA (SolidWorks Simulation), Soldering
